Jose Mourinho’s side take on Benfica at Old Trafford tonight (7.45pm), knowing they will be through to the next round if they win and CSKA Moscow fail to beat Basel.

Alternatively, Manchester United will progress to the Round of 16 if they draw and CSKA lose.

With qualification within their grasp, a strong Red Devils squad was spotted arriving at the Lowry last night with several key men including Romelu Lukaku and Eric Bailly among the travelling party.

While the majority of the team travelled together by coach, Lukaku drove himself to the city centre hotel and was seen sporting a pair of trendy glasses as he hopped out of his car.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford were all present as the team checked in, giving Mourinho plenty of options ahead of tonight’s clash.
