A ninth-placed finish comfortably secured Hamilton’s fourth Drivers’ Championship in Mexico at the weekend, with two races to spare.
Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel came closest to challenging the Brit, but he sits 56 points behind in second place.
Hamilton’s former team, McLaren, have hd a nightmare season but the 32-year-old hopes they will come back stronger next year.
"Just wait until this guy (Alonso) gets a good engine," Hamilton said.

“I hope they have a stronger engine and a stronger car.
“Fernando's a tough cookie and I enjoyed the little battle that I had with him and I hope that we get to have many more like that.”

The Brit often came to blows with Nico Rosberg last season, who he lost out to in the race for the title.
Team-mate Valtteri Bottas has guaranteed at least a third-placed finish this season, but Hamilton wants to see other teams now produce better engines to make the sport more competitive.
“Fighting the other teams is what we want to see, what Formula One wants to see,” Hamilton added.
“I remember growing up watching Formula One and that's what I wanted to see.”
