Jupp Heynckes (left) looks set to take over at Bayern Munich

After Carlo Ancelotti was sacked in the wake of Bayern’s 3-0 defeat in the Champions League to Paris Saint-Germain last week, Willy Sagnol has taken over on an interim basis.

Pep Guardiola, who now manages Manchester City, took over but failed to deliver the same level of success.

And according to German paper Bild, Heynckes looks set to be reappointed until the end of the season.
