Wenger on Lemar and Mahrez
13:26: Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says there is no truth to transfer speculation linking Thomas Lemar and Riyad Mahrez with a move to the Emirates.
When asked if there was any truth to Arsenal pursuing Lemar in January, Wenger said: “No. At the moment, I have a big squad.

“Do we go on the transfer market in January? I don't know yet.”
When asked about Mahrez, Wenger added: “No.”

Sanchez on Kolasinac
07:42: Alexis Sanchez isn’t a fan of coming up against team-mate Sead Kolasinac in training.
Speaking to Arsenal Player, Sanchez said: “It’s tough [against him in training] because he’s strong and he’s hard to get around!
“He’s a very experienced player and he’s really strong.”
Kolasinac was the star of the show last weekend as helped to fire Arsenal to a 2-1 win over Swansea.
Lemar three-way battle
05:30: Arsenal will reportedly have a battle on their hands to sign summer target Thomas Lemar next year.
The Gunners had a £90million bid accepted for Lemar in the closing stages of the summer window.
But the deal fell through at the last minute, leading to Arsenal keeping hold of Alexis Sanchez.
However, Arsene Wenger will reportedly return with another bid next summer, but they face heavy competition for his signature.
The Mirror claim both Liverpool and Barcelona are in the running to sign the 21-year-old.
Alexis Sanchez replacement
04:00: Arsenal are exploring a move for Mexico international Hirving Lozano, according to reports.
The 22-year-old, who has 19 international caps for his country, has scored 10 goals in just 11 appearances in all competitions for PSV Eindhoven this term.
Lozano only signed a new six-year deal in the summer.
But according to sportskeeda, the Gunners will rival Manchester United for his signature and see him as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez
Arsenal news LIVE updates: Santi Cazorla is expected to be back after Christmas
Tuesday 31 October
18.10: Arsenal and Chelsea are tracking RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.
Gulacsi has impressed in the Bundesliga and has attracted interest from the Premier League with Arsenal and Chelsea monitoring his situation, according to ESPN.
Leipzig challenged Bayern Munich last season and finished second, qualifying for the Champions League.
And they sit third this year after keeping hold of their star players during the summer.
But next summer might be different with Naby Keita already agreeing to join Liverpool and Timo Werner also impressing big clubs in Europe.
And Arsenal and Chelsea could go head-to-head for their goalkeeper.
Sanchez lauds Kolasinac
14:50: Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is a fan of summer signing Sead Kolasinac.
“It’s tough [against him in training] because he’s strong and he’s hard to get around!” Alexis told Arsenal Player.
“He’s a very experienced player and he’s really strong.
“When it matters [in games], he finds me and makes good passes so I can score. He is an intelligent player who can create good goalscoring opportunities.
“He’s already demonstrated his quality. He’s scored goals, provided assists and shown what he can do both in European and league games.”
12:36: Referee Michael Oliver will be in charge of Arsenal’s crunch clash with Manchester City on Saturday.
It will be the 32-year-old’s second Man City assignment of the season after he had the whistle for the Blues’ 2-0 win over Brighton on the opening day of the season.
Oliver was also in charge of Arsenal’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea at the start of the season.
Kolasinac is signing of the season – Crooks
09:50: Arsenal star Sead Kolasinac is the signing of the season, says Garth Crooks.
“I was very impressed with Sead Kolasinac when Arsenal played Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season and he has since become a regular feature in the Gunners set-up,” Crooks told BBC Sport.
“Kolasinac only joined the club at the beginning of the season, and on a free transfer, which really does knock the stuffing out of all those Arsenal ‘know it all’ supporters who have been caning Arsene Wenger for not spending millions on players the manager thinks are not worth it.”
“Kolasinac must be the signing of the season and he already looks like a player who has won the respect and admiration of his team-mates."
Wenger calm over Sanchez form
08:20: Arsene Wenger is not concerned by Alexis Sanchez's current Arsenal goal drought.
“He runs after a goal at the moment so he’s a bit frustrated when he doesn’t score, like all goalscorers,” Wenger said.
“I’m not worried about it. He works hard and it will come back quickly.
"You can never try too hard. At the moment he’s marked well, they double up on him, but he still creates many dangerous situations and the goal – he just has not to worry too much.
"I know you always say that to strikers and they still worry but over a longer period he has always scored and that will come back.”
Cazorla injury update
07:30: Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger thinks Santi Cazorla WILL return for the Gunners.
But not until after Christmas.
"The first signs are positive, but still he has not played for one and a half years.
"He is not in full training yet, he needs a few games with the reserve team. So I think if all goes well, it will be after Christmas."
Arsenal want Barcelona star
07:10: Arsenal supposedly want to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
Spanish outlet Don Balon claims the Gunners are mulling over whether to replace Petr Cech at the end of the campaign.
And Ter Stegen is their No1 choice, with the Germany international regarded as one of the best shotstoppers in world football.
However, in bad news for Arsene Wenger, Paris Saint-Germain are also sniffing about.

Ramsey compared to Chelsea hero Lampard
06:50: Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey has been compared to Chelsea legend Frank Lampard by Sky Sports' Jamie Redknapp.
“Aaron Ramsey is thriving for Arsenal at the moment and it is because he is playing in his best central position,” Redknapp told the Daily Mail.
“Arsene Wenger needs to keep Ramsey in this ‘Frank Lampard’ role.
“Whenever the ball goes wide, Ramsey’s priority has to be to make those runs from deep and get into the box. He is tireless in midfield, covering more ground than any other Arsenal player in each of his last four starts.
“Time and again he digs this team out of holes.”
